AI tools make mistakes
Claude Code can produce incorrect, insecure or incomplete code, and it can run commands on your computer if you allow it. Always review changes before accepting them, keep work under version control and do not give an AI agent access to production systems or secrets you are not prepared to expose. You remain responsible for any code you commit.
Versions change
The tool is updated often. A command, setting or behaviour shown in one session may work differently later, or be removed. Anthropic's own documentation is the authoritative reference.
